The Frontier Fiber Modem
As part of the internet service provided by Frontier, there is a ‘modem’, which is attached to the back wall of the unit B guest bedroom near the northeast corner.
In the image you can see plugged in to the bottom of the modem
- a yellow fiber-optic jumper cable,
- an ethernet jumber cable that connects to a port on the Unifi UDM SE,
- and a DC power cable that comes from the transformer on the wall just to the right of the modem. The transformer is plugged into a power strip which is, in turn, plugged into a Uninterruptable Power Supply.
