As part of the internet service provided by Frontier, there is a fiber modem attached to the back wall of the unit B guest bedroom near the northeast corner.
In the image, you see cables plugged into the bottom of the modem
- a yellow fiber-optic jumper cable. The other end is connected to the main fiber cable in a junction box just outside the doorway to the right.
- an Ethernet jumper cable that connects to port 10 on the Unifi Dream Machine (UDM) Pro SE,
- and a DC power cable that comes from the transformer on the wall just to the right of the modem. The transformer is plugged into a power strip, which is, in turn, plugged into the Uninterruptable Power Supply for the network shelves.
